In Passing, one would fail to miss the quaint charm of this fully restored, circa 1887 Victorian homestead, which now houses the delightful antique and curiosity shop know as The Peacock's Tale.
The 120-year-old property was restored over a six year period by proprietors, Sandy and Andy McGeever. It was through Sandy's interior design talents (acquired at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh) along with Andy's electrical and contracting skills and the Grace of God that the building was blessed with a second life in 2005.
Once inside, you will experience the ambiance of the days-gone-by through the captivating beauty of the Victorian architecture. Be inspired to reminisce of times when life was much simpler as you browse the five large rooms and basement that are overflowing with antiques, vintage furniture, collectibles and what-nots... at prices that everyone can afford!
